The Member of the Month for October is Lisa Butkowski. Lisa has been a member of The Chatham Club for nearly 20 years. She was looking for a club close to her home, and thankfully, for us, the Chatham Club was nearby.

What are some of your favorite things about The Chatham Club?
I like that there is a lot of equipment and things to do in what looks like a small place. The layout and use of space make working out easy. I love that there is a lot of trainer and member retention. It has a great casual feel and a wide age range of members. It is always clean, and the club always upgrades equipment when needed. I also like seeing the training staff doing their workouts and socializing during their downtime.

What are some of your favorite things about Personal Training?
I like being challenged by my trainer, Eric. I like the feeling of getting stronger. The sessions make me feel like I’m accomplishing things I didn’t think I could do.

Do you have any favorite exercises?
I unbiasedly don’t like any of them. However, I do love how I feel after the workouts.

What are your least favorite exercises?
My least favorite exercises are medicine Ball weighted V-crunch, Planks, anything with gliders, and battle ropes.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the club?
I enjoy walking my dogs, reading, and eating😊. Most of all, I love being at the beach.

What are some upcoming goals?
Besides impressing my trainer, I want to remain active. Ultimately, the goal is to be able to wear a bikini well into my nineties! 😊
