Sports Performance Training at The Chatham Club offers a methodical approach toward improving speed, strength, and flexibility in young athletes ages 12 years and older.

Our sports performance specialists completely understand the science, training philosophy, exercise methodology, active coaching process, error detection, and athletic mechanics required to build more talented athletes. With this specialized knowledge, our sports performance trainers are in a powerful position to affect young athletes in a positive and rewarding way.

Meet our Sports Performance Training Director Robbie Arnold

Robbie earned his B.S. in Physical Education and Coaching from the Peru State College of Nebraska. He is a certified Personal Trainer through NASM. Robbie holds additional certifications in Sports Performance Training, FMS, Alloy Training, USA Weightlifting and USA Track and Field. Robbie was an All-American football player and team captain in college. With more than 20 years experience in the Sports Performance field he has trained both male and female athletes in many different sports. Several of his athletes have gone on to become All-American and All-State athletes themselves. Robbie specializes in team training and is known for helping, educating, motivating, and building a young athlete’s confidence.

MACKENZIE MATTER

 

1. What sport do you play, where, what position?
I play defense in lacrosse at Summit High School.

2. What is your favorite thing about your team/sport/school?
My teammates are my favorite part of the game. They create a competitive yet fun environment, pushing each other to get better.

3. Why do you enjoy training at TCC with Robbie?
I love training at TCC because of Robbie’s positivity and desire to help me get better.

4. What are your favorite exercises?
My favorite exercises are pull-ups and squats.

5. What is your least favorite exercise?
My least favorite exercise is 144’s.

6. Thanks to your training, Have you seen any improvements in Strength/Agility/Speed?
I have seen many improvements in my change in direction, strength, and speed.

7. Any goals for this year?
I want to continue to get stronger, quicker, and faster.

8. How long have you been training with Robbie?
I have been training with Robbie for about 2.5 years.
