Greetings,

Last week, Governor Murphy announced gyms and fitness centers must remain closed, but can offer individualized training sessions by appointment starting this Thursday, 7/2. The Club will not be open for general use – only personal training and one-on-one squash lessons. Our membership billing is still on pause.

All training appointments will need to be scheduled in advance with a personal trainer or squash pro – no walk-ins will be allowed. Club usage other than scheduled training time is not permitted. Buddy and group sessions will only be permitted with immediate family members.

Please remember to bring your own towel and water to your training session – water coolers will not be available. Our locker rooms, lockers, saunas & showers will not be available – only the rest rooms will be open.

Face masks/coverings will be required upon entering the Club and throughout the check-in process. Use of face masks/coverings is recommended but not required while exercising. Staff will be required to wear a face mask/covering.

All members should enter the Club through the front door.
Upon arrival, please follow these steps:

•Use hand sanitizer.
•Wait in the lobby for your designated trainer or squash pro to greet you.
•Submit to a contactless temperature check – anyone exhibiting a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be permitted in the Club.
•Fill out the Chatham Club COVID waiver (first visit only).
•Answer the following questions (upon every visit):

1) Within the last 14 days, have you been in close contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19?
2) Do you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, body aches, chills or new loss of your sense of smell or taste?
3) Have you traveled in the past 14 days to a region with high rates of COVID-19 disease activity?

If you answer YES to any of these questions, please refrain from entering the Club.

After the process above, members will check-in and proceed to the fitness area and/or squash court as usual. Upon completion of your workout, please use hand sanitizer and leave the building through the emergency exit door located near Squash Court E.

While this process may feel different from your usual Chatham Club routine, we want all members to be able to enjoy personal training and squash safely. We are thrilled to be (partially) opening our doors again and cannot wait to see you!

In Good Health,

Darren Worts
