Carol was introduced to Pilates after years of teaching step aerobics. In 2001, she received her Mat Pilates certification through Powerhouse Pilates. Three years later, Carol expanded her knowledge of Pilates and received her Reformer Foundations 1-certification, also through Powerhouse Pilates. Carol’s style of instruction is challenging, succinct, and informative. She encourages her clients to cultivate a greater sense of self-compassion and to develop a deeper understanding of the mind/body connection. Outside of the Club, she enjoys running, hiking and biking. A mother of three children, Carol finds balance through mindfulness and gratitude.
Kate began her involvement with Pilates in 2001. Personally, Kate benefitted physically and mentally while practicing Pilates. Kate received her Pilates Mat Certification through Power Pilates in NYC and her apparatus certification with Physical Mind Institute also in NYC. She is a certified pre-and post-natal Pilates instructor through Bella Babies in Hoboken. Kate is a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. Teaching Pilates for over 10 years, she continues to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses.
JennyLee Cunningham, PMA, M.S.
Jennylee began her work in Pilates as a member of The Chatham Club in 2002. Pursuing her passion, she studied with Leslie Powell, and Doris Pasteleur-Hall at Movements Afoot in NYC. She completed her certification through the Physical Mind Institute in 2005. Jennylee continued her education and was certified in 2008 through the Pilates Method Alliance. She holds a Sports and Wellness Certification. Jennylee received her Master’s degree from the College of St. Elizabeth in Food and Nutrition.
