Description
 
Yoga is the union of body, mind and breath. Nadia Olsen’s yoga classes offer a path to healing and wellness that is unique. Classes are progressive within each series and within the year. They build upon each other to introduce each student to a series of asanas (yoga positions) utilizes to create body awareness, flexibility, strength, healing and inner quiet. Nadia’s classes prepare each student for a lifetime of yoga.
 
  • The classes are not drop-in and require signing up before the beginning of each session. All newcomers begin with the level I class, irrespective of one’s yoga background. Students progress to level II and level III classes upon the invitation and approval of Nadia. These invitations are in the interest of assuring the safety of each student, as well as allowing class continuity for all students. Students often repeat level I happily.
 
It is appreciated by the students and Nadia that everyone arrives to class on time. It is equally important to the series development and safety of students to commit to an entire series and to miss few classes. There are multiple level I and level II classes each week offering a way to make up a missed class.
 
Nadia’s Background
 
Nadia’s yoga journey began in 1963. She began sharing her knowledge & experience of yoga 30+ years ago. For the past 13 years Nadia has especially enjoyed sharing this knowledge at The Chatham Club.
