Carmine’s Take: Inserting Competition into Exercise at Any Age

We stopped trainer Carmine in the halls and got his take on exercise at all different age levels! His main piece of advice? Insert a little bit of competition into the mix! Whether it’s friendly competition between two kids or the competitor inside yourself – it will give you that extra boost of energy.

Carmine Colasurdo, B.S., ACE | Carmine earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from Montclair State University. He is a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Carmine is well versed in personal, small and large group training with more than 25 years of experience in the fitness industry. He is a former NJ State Bodybuilding competitor. Carmine is also a Physical Education teacher at an elementary school in Nutley, NJ, and is a licensed Youth Soccer Coach through the Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association.
